Thank you for being a Minnesota voter and making sure your voice is heard this year!
If you live in Dakota County here is specific information for you about how you can vote for the November 3, 2020 General Election.
Voting starts on Friday, September 18.
Vote by Mail
You can vote 100% by mail. Simply request your ballot online, fill it out at home, and drop it in the mail. It’s best to return it as soon as you can.
Return Mail Ballot In Person
You can sign up to have a ballot mailed to you at home and then return it in-person to a ballot drop off location in your area.
This is a new option for 2020. Call ahead to make sure this is an option in your community.
Vote Early In-Person
You can go to an early vote location and cast your ballot in-person before Election Day. You do not need to request a ballot by mail for this option.
Absentee in-person voting sites
You can request an absentee ballot at the following locations during the absentee ballot period.
Municipal locations have ballots for precincts within that municipality only.
The three county service centers have ballots for any precinct in the county.
